If the customer uploads an updated fee schedule, the changes will reflect on claims for any previous date of service (DOS) not submitted yet if this feature is enabled. This feature locks the fee schedule where they stay at the same rate at the time it was entered, regardless of whether it was updated.

If there is a claim from a past appointment that has no charges, and charges are entered after a new fee schedule is uploaded, the claim will show the fees in the system at the time they are added to the appointment.

Changing the price of a CPT/HCPCS/Custom Code will impact the ERAs ability to automatically post the payment as the price would be different from the claim submitted and the claim when the ERA is trying to post. These would need to be worked manually.
